Going from gasoline to propane without changing the heads on the engine will cause some power loss. Propane-LPG engines used a higher
compression head. I have a 800 that was LPG and switched to gasoline.

I didn't do the conversion, but I have 930 Case gas that was converted to Propane using a century conversion kit when it was
about a year old. I am told my propane sips fuel compared to most LP 930 cases because of the century Carb. I don't know if its
true or not but I get about 9 hrs on a 35 gal fill-up doing heavier work. If i'm raking hay or running a mower conditioner then I
get about 11 hrs on a tank.

I will try to help answer your questions.

Do you currently have any parts on hand for the conversion?

I have planted corn with my factory LP 930. Used about 40 gallons to plant 50 acres. A diesel would have used about 1/2 of that.

What case collector said is the truth, and where you going to get some L.P. heads,, you got to get the compression up to 9,0 or 9.50 to 1, or its going to be so gutless, u will be disapointed, It all comes down to BTU's in a gallon or propane is a lot less than gasoline. So on every power stroke there's less heat, means lest power , of the explosion.
