I have a case 595 ROPS model. I lost the dip stick that checks the transmission oil level.
So I am using a small bolt the same size to block the hole. Question is I want to check the transmission oil level, can some one tell me what is the length of this dip stick and how far up the stick, from the end that goes in the oil, should you see oil on the stick.
(I have a small wooden dowel that I can get to go down this hole to measure oil once I know how far to let it down and then how far I should see oil on the stick.
A second question. The forward, reverse shuttle sometimes whines for a minute or two, when
tractor is not moving. If I move it from whatever position it is in then back to the first position it stops the whine, Does not do this when tractor is moving forward or backwards.
What could be causing this??
