Hello all. I'm new to the forum. I just bought an 81 case 450b with working brakes. The owner said the umbrella seals for the injection pump where leaking diesel into the crank case. It is over filled slightly. But it is not runny, does not smell like diesel and I did the white paper test and it does not show the diesel ring. I did find the trans fluid 4 gallons low.
My question is can the charge pump for the trans be leaking into the engine oil? There are no leaks from the trans.
Thanks you for your input. I really want to run it but want to make sure I don't ruin the engine.
