There is an auction next week that has what I believe is a 411 with a stuck engine. The exhaust is not covered and the sheet metal is poor but the tires are up. It shows a 3 pt hitch and rear tires at 40%. I know most everyone will agree that it is only worth a little more than scrap, as she sits now. What is a working, running tractor in her work clothes worth?
Thank you
Steve

I would not even give scrap price. I saw one with a similar history. All four pistons stuck tight. one split sleeve, rust on crank, rods and bottom end of alum pistons. Don't think it is loose yet and its been soaking a long awhile. Heads and valves all rusty valves rusted tight. jmho gobble

that depends on condition ,keep in mind the tractor market has gotten soft to the point of mushie , I boght a 511with loader home for 1200,.starter was jammed those 2 bolt starters re EXPENSIVE ..found a banged up 630 with loader on a nasty windy cold day,,no one seemed interested ,, ran good too,,. got it for 1300 . these tractors were not perfect ,, no lites , starter was the worst part on the 511 . in all honesty these tractors are worth twice what I got them for ,,.I ran both tractors on a haybine ,. I could fill up with gas and run 2full 8 hour days cuttting before I needed to bring in gas for a 3rd day .. fixed nice and painted and badged correctly they could command a 5k price tag ,. if in perfect running order

Yes I did. Running, ready to use in work clothes, usable tires, my guess 1500-2500, tires being the big variable. gobble

I'd say ball park $500 to $1000. Is it a wide or narrow front? Look at the bottom of the exhaust elbow. There should be a drain hole. If that is open then the engine may not be stuck that bad. Sleeves and pistons are available through John Saeli.

Keep us posted.

$1800 is what I gave for 311B about 3 years ago. It was running with a lot of blue smoke. Sheet metal was good, tires about 90% but mismatched. The loader came on it, but was the cause of the steering to have about 1/3 turn of slop. An expensive part to keep your eye on is the instrument cluster.

I bought a 1956 411 (not 411B) last year for $1300, real nice rear tires, not perfect but not bad sheet metal and ran pretty nice.

He calls it a 600. It's his 900 alky burner with differen't sheet metal running on race gas, I assume it will be at Shellum's pull Sunday
