611B C159 Oil Filter

Has Anyone had Oil Pressure Problems with these oil filters? I heard About 10 years ago Wix had some bad ones. always thought my 611B should have more oil pressure, just now ran onto this problem that they had back then, I guess it was a lot of Allis Chalmers problems. They use this filter and also older Olivers. I got a NAPA 7011, and it is a Wix. Fram still uses the C159 number. Did they Make a Spin on adapter? Thanks Gene

The problem may have been the stem tube was pulled out and discarded with the filter, the oil passes from the inlet to the outlet back to the sump without going through the restriction of the filter media so lowering the overall oil pressure some.

not here, I knew of five people here with WD45 AC's that when they installed a NAPA filter on them the oil psi went to zero almost,,, they came to me and got CASE filters I stock and the psi went back to normal,, here this was a well know issue, I was told the NAPA dealer checked into it and they said they had changed filter material but had changed it again and corrected the issue I do not know of anyone who tried the new ones, on a sad note I was told a couple days ago cnh has changed filter suppliers,, the a146696 ones have been leaking,, have not heard of any others yet but I am betting we will,, big companies trying to save a buck
