I recently purchased a 65' case 530 ck with the following counterweight installed on the back.

Anyone have an idea of it's listed weight based on the part number? (D38718?)

I see an option for a #1400 counterweight in the case parts section for the backhoe loader but this seems to be more than that.

The depth of the casting is about 15" from front to back

You will be pretty close to calculate it at 10# for every square foot x 1/4". So measure how many square
feet in the face then multiply that by 10 pounds per 1/4" of depth. That will get you close.

Iron and steel are around 0.28 # per cubic inch. length x width x depth x .28 will give you approximate weight. Sample calculation is 20" x 30" x 8.33" = 1400#

Thanks for the replies.
I measured again when I got home and it is 34 1/2" wide x 20" tall x 14 1/2" deep.
So I'm getting approx. 2,800 lbs.

Cast is just shy of 450# per cubic foot. By your measurements and my math, that would be #2500ish if it were a solid block.

Man, I would LOVE to have that!! That would be perfect on my 1190 with the snow plow. I picked up a JD I-Match ballast box cheap
and intend to fill it with sand, but that's only going to be just shy of 800 lbs.
