This tractor is located in Kingman AZ tires hold air but are bad. front single wheel assembly is missing, it has add on hydraulics for loader and 3 point hitch. Asking $800 but sure would take considerable less. Motor is loose so they say. If interested send me email and I'll give you the phone number. It is not mine just trying to help out a friend.

I have a narrow front (2 wheel) assembly that would bolt onto that easily and would likely fix a lot of the problems. I'd love to get it out of the yard if someone has a need.

Wow, that wheel set up is and was a accident waiting to happen, but looks like whoever buys it Ken can fix them up. Man I thought I had seen it all but.......

Thanks to the post Gary, looks pretty straight otherwise

You know anything about why its not running what issues he was having with it? That might help someone who would be interested in buying it. Obviously it would be quite the chore to just load on a trailer. Rebuild Parts and gaskets are extremely expensive for it you'll quickly invest more than it is worth. If he ever just wants someone to remove it id be interested. I just couldn't offer him anything for it. Maybe he would be better off putting it on craigslist or just parting it out if he really needs the money.

Hi Ken, I'm very interested in your narrow front assembly. I can't see any email address in your profile. My email is open though, so could you please get ahold of me with price and location?

Maybe it's because I'm new to the site, but I can't see any link to Frank's email. Is it just me? I really would like to speak with him about this front end he has. It will be for this tractor. I've decided to take this project on, as it was one of my Dad's tractors. He passed away last year. I believe he bought it with the front end set up like that, as I've been cleaning up the garage and backyard at his house, and haven't located the original single wheel, but he had other parts there for the Case, including an old buzzsaw. My stepmom says he bought it, tried to make it work, but ended up parking it and buying a '39 9N to work with. This one will cost me a bit, but it'll be nice when it's done. It does run great, which is a huge plus. I parked it where it sits last month. When I get it up to my house, I will start a new thread on it. I'm hoping to get it done before Thanksgiving, as that will mark the first anniversary of his passing. If anyone knows where I can find the single wheel and axle setup for this front end, I'd be more than interested in it, as the single wheel option seems to be a bit rarer, at least in pictures I've searched for.

Thanks,

Darren

Friday bump, still hoping to hear from Frank soon. I've put in some calls to salvage yards about the size glee front wheel and axle, but never get any return calls. I'll just have to keep looking.

Don't know what's going on with auto correct, I was talking about the single wheel and axle in the last post, and can't edit.

Bumping this thread up, still would like to hear from Frank or anyone else who may have parts available to help out. Good pictures and/or measurements of the single wheel setup would really help out. I will be picking the tractor up next weekend and bringing it home. I'll be getting right to work on it from that point. Loader is coming off first, don't know if I'll fix it or just sell it/trade it at this point. I'm looking more for an original configuration for the restoration, so the hydraulics would be coming off. It would be better for someone with a wide front, for sure, just stability-wise.

Thanks,

Darren

Still searching for a usable front end, either single wheel or narrow. Salvage yards advertise they have parts, but turns out they don't when they check stock. Haven't picked up the tractor yet, I've been busy the past few weeks between work and projects at home. Hopefully soon.

You may be able to find just the hub if the forks still good. I believe it uses the same hub and rim for the SC same part number you can check at
http://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::model_find Just type in the model DC or SC
Best of luck Byron

Thank you for the link. It looks like they are one and the same p/n now. I will check with the dealer on Monday. Who knows, they might have one on the shelf somewhere.
