I disassembled the Lifting link {right side} on the 411 last night. A little heat and I was able to free up #A9219 screw from #A9217 yoke with heat and Kroil oil Wire brush and a 3/4 10 tap to retap the yoke. I added a rubber gasket to the top of the yoke to prevent more dust and dirt to attack the screw going fwd. Sheet metal work continues and hoping to preview the 411 @ the WHO Tractor ride June 27th in Grinnell Iowa. No Barley Pops were harmed in this process. Cheers! Chuck Machinist

Where can a guy find more info on a ride like that? Couple of us up here like to travel to a tour or two a year to meet new folks and see a bit of different country. Lots of fun. On the penetrating oil, try a 50/50 mixture of acetone and ATF sometime. You will be amazed. I use a bit of synthetic oil, just because I use a ton of it, and the viscosity is low. I would sure think Hy-Tran would work too.

June 26 and 27 is the Rockville Covered Bridge Tractor Tour this summer. Illinois Bi-County Tractor Cruise is July 29, 30,and 31. Good slower paced way to see the country.

Ok on the 50/50 mix.I'm a little slow to try other mixes, but I will try it!. Will the rides require liability insurance ? The Whiteside County Illinois Tractor ride on August 15th has it on their application . Thanks to Eli for the Heat trick advise.

The Illiana Antique Power show at Rainsville In. is the 3rd weekend in July. Which is the 15,16,17. Would love to see anybody from the website. I will be the guy announcing the events and the parade..................Kenny

Chuck,

I am jealous that I can't get away from the farm more to participate in rides like WHO. Someday......... Have a great time! Don
