Case 120 combine

I have the opportunity to buy a running and operational Case120 combine from a very good case collectors estate. I have no clue worst the value of this machine would be. I have seen it harvest wheat 2 years ago and it did fine. Can anyone give me an approximate value? I don't want this machine to leave the area, it was a good friends until he passed, and I want to use it at our local show. It's hard to justify a toy like this with grain prices floating aruond the break even area. What's it worth? Thanks guys..

jmohr,

Hard to estimate, but will, with my gut, as that is about the best I can do without at least one picture. Personally if it was me, I would private mail some of the guys here, and get their ideas, but you mentioned he was a good friend also, and local good running machine, personally I would let emotions get in the way and might pay 2000.00 for it, but this is more then a toy, it is a part of you if he was a good friend. Also its local machine that went up and down fields you know of. You have to set in your mind how important this is to you.

Combines are hard to store, take a lot of room, there are several here that know that.
