Case 831 hydraulic fluid fill

I just had to replace a burst hose that runs to the bottom of the radiator and to the hydraulic pump. Believe this was a hydraulic line and now need to know where to fill hydraulic fluid. I have also been reading about gear oil for the rear end. The tractor has one shifter for the hi and low range (8 forward gears and 2 Reverse gears). Has one large breather/dipstick on the left side of the tractor and a pipe plug above the PTO. Where would be the best place to fill and check each of these fluids ?

I'm pretty sure all of the hydraulic fluid is now gone when the hose to the radiator burst. Serial # is attached.

That sounds like a com line since no main hyd lines run up to the radiator on an 830. The com fills on
the left side in front of the rear wheel.

What fluid is needed ?

The black hose in picture is what burst.

I put a socket on breather/dipstick as well as other large fill hole under seat. Which fluids go there ?

The com came with auto trany fluid, type f I think. The transmission/rear end/hydraulics are common and should have universal hydraulic fluid on an 830. Some use case hytran in everything, but that is a little thicker than auto trany fluid and can cause more gear grinding in cold weather. Your pics didn't come through.

First picture is relacement hose.

Picture below is breather cap/dipstick. Has a plug directly below.
Is this where to add the ATF for the com. What does the plug directly below drain?

That is the fill and the plug is the drain. The converter won't drain completely tho from just that plug. To do a complete change you either have to flush the system like a auto trany flush or take the cover with the fill cap off to get at the converter drain plug inside.

What fluid goes in to the large flat bolt beneath seat

That is for the trany/hydraulic. To drain it there are 2 or 3 plugs underneath. One fill hole fills them all but they drain separate.

I'm in central valley california. Mid to high 30s at its coldest in winter and only for a few hours before back in 50s-60s. Fluid coming from plug beneath dipstick/breather is not pink, red or even close. It is a brown oil color

Should i just flush or top off eith hytran from case dealer to play it safe ?

If you don't know whats in it a flush is in order no matter what oil you use. Hytran should work fine where you are.
