Hello, everyone!
I am a noob to this forum, and a noob tractor owner. I just got an old Case 275 diesel with the Mitsubishi engine. Awesome little tractor. I'm having a couple of issues. The clutch works great on all 9 forward, and three reverse gears. To engage the PTO, I have to turn the tractor off and engage PTO, then crank tractor with PTO engaged. I know this tractor has a hydraulic clutch. I do not know where the adjustment is. Anyone have a link to a diagram, or familiar enough to talk me through the ins and outs? I am a fair mechanic, and can figure anything out given time. I've found as I've gotten wiser, it's smarter to seek advice from experienced people than to just jump in blind.
I am also having trouble getting the foot throttle connected to where it operates at all. Any help on these issues is greatly appreciated. My next purchase will be an official shop manual for this tractor. Followed by a modern seat with suspension to ease my aching back. Then, a fiberglass shade to attach to roll bar. If anyone has suggestions on these I am open as well.
I'm finding I really love this model. The diesel is powerful, and runs like a kitten purring! I am planning on reprinting the tractor to bring it to as close to new as possible. This is definitely a keeper!
Thanks I advance guys & gals!
