Been presure washing the 931 for the last two days getting it ready for paint. the greese and grime was really baked on afrer 47 years. I don't have a hot water pressure washer, so I depend on degreaser solvent to cut the nasties off the tractor.I have the platform and bat tray stripped off so I could get all the crud off the tranny and rear end.
Hope to remove the rear and front tires and wheels tomarrow before the rain sets in again. It is only supposed to get to mid 40s with rain Sunday, but I have lots of sheet metal to sand and get ready for paint. I can do that in the shop. I guess I'm going to remove the radiator again and do a better job of cleaning so the fan and shrouds look like they did when new. I no longer punch a time clock, and I'm getting slower and can't push myself, but I'm being pretty perticular on this tractor.
I'm not going to be as fussy on the 831C, but It does deserve a decent facelift. Planning to paint both chasis at the same time. I'm lazy and will only have to clean the paint gun once. HeHe

Loren, Great looking pictures, an I am sure it will turn out great. Have you tried to use hot water from your hot water heater. I have hot water in the shop and it works great with the power washer, just a thought. Jerry

Lookin good Loren, that darn prepping for paint is a lot of work, it is so nice after your done to sit back and catch your breath while admiring the finished product. We are looking forward to seeing the finished tractor almost as much as you, Rod.
