weak brakes on case 1070

I have a quick question to throw out to the forum. I have a 1974 case 1070 and I changed the hydraulic oil and filters and had good brakes before this. Now the brakes are intermittent. the longer you run it the weaker they get. Cracked the bleeder valves on the brakes after changing the oil and got some air out of it, but the tractor is a spare and not used much, so went back to use it and the brakes are weak again. So do they need to be bled longer? Is there another issue? Just throwing it out there, but could it be a pump issue? Don't know so thought I would throw it out there to a bigger bank of knowledge. Any help is appreciated.

Cracked the bleeder and let it spit and spudder a little more and the brakes seem more firm. I was wondering after doing that then you press the brake pedal down all the way there is a sound similar to a whining power steering pump or steering up against a power steering pump to full lock that shows up in the last 1/4 inch of pedal travel. Doesn't happen all the time, but on occasion when the pedal is fully depressed. Is there an o-ring going bad, just fluid slipping by due to wear, just thought I would see if that was common on these 1070's and if it was something of concern?

Might be a piece of something stuck in the line from filter removal, or new filter is letting more or less oil through changing performance of brakes? Maybe check adjustment and run for a while?

Thanks, I bled the brakes again and have only ran the tractor a few times since filter oil change. I bled them again and will see how the brakes do long term. Might need a little tweaking after operation again.
