The weather straightened out enough for a little bit to start planting corn here in NEIL. The 23 is one of my favorite tractors and will NEVER leave the farm! We bought in new in Feb of 1980 and has a little over 33xx hrs. For the last 25 yrs it has been on planter and auger cart duty.

Lookin Good! Doing a nice job the way it looks. I have not planted any corn yet, raining now and will be for the next week by the forecast. Rod.

That is a very nice looking tractor you have there . Please do not take this the wrong way but, How can a farmer buy a tractor of that size , and only use it 100 hrs per year ? Or did this tractor go into semi retirement. My two newest tractors average 400 hours per year, and we have 4 older tractors that get 1-3oo hours too. I don't really like doing field work , more of a livestock guy . So I am starting to thing if I was a grain farmer , I wouldn't have to spend so much time sitting on a tractor .lol.
Love those pictures , no corn going in here yet , ground is still too cool.
