Tulare Antique Show Pictures

Just got back from Tulare, CA. Antique Farm Equipment Show. Cletrac was the featured tractor this year. They had quite a few there. Lot of Green and red tractors to. A few Case but not many. I took my little 49 VAC still in original work clothes. Couple 3 VA & VAC's, 430, 700 high crop, SC and LA. One pour guy had his VA quite right by me. We could not get it to fire so his Dad came over with a little JD L and towed him back. Lot of other neat tractors and trucks. Hope I didn't post too many pics? I wanted to share the fun. Dick

Thanks for the pics. I was there too, but as an observer. Maybe next year I'll drag something down.

I enjoyed the additional activities for young kids which might help get a few more interested in the hobby. I was disappointed that the swap meet was small, there was a lot of trinket crap instead of tractor parts, tractors were down probably 40% from last year. I enjoyed the 4h stuff, an addition this year. Now if they can just figure out how to bring more people in. Did they charge you to show like they did a couple of years back?

From what the gal was saying you could
hook up any number of implements to the
hitch spot. You would then ride on the
seat way back over the plow.
Additionally, the engine is off to the
left and to even out weight the right
room was pretty well filled with
concrete. Cool machine.

I had understood the Moline Universal was about a 9-18. Wouldn't that 2 bottom be quite a tug for it?

$10.00 to display, another $10.00 if you brought a golf cart. You had to have insurance or buy their $78.00 ins which did not cover a tractor that was driving around. I belong to an Edge Tractor Club and their ins covers us. Camping with motor home was $40-50 bucks I think. That show used to be great, it's gotten smaller each year. Last year the swap meet was a lot better. Not as many tractors either. A few years ago there was a lot of old Caterpilliar's, old 30's, 60's and such. Everyone was complaining about show management? $110 covered everything above plus three meals for two. My insurance was covered by at least two of the clubs I belong to. No complaints here.
