Dug the 511B out of hibernation

The Son had the week off from work, so he came up and we got the 511 out of the barn, Been in there for 2 years without seeing daylight. It really supprised us by starting on it's own without even haveing to charge the bat. It just started rite up. It has had an issue with a leaky rear tire and we had the tractor up on blocks on one side, so we had to air it back up.
Scott had bought a new tube for it earlier, and we were hopeing the tube would solve the problem, but the rim was much worse than we thought. Called around and found a new one, but it was Yellow. Yuck!!! It turned silver rather quickly.
Also had to put a new bat in one of the twin 770s, as it was shot.
I haven't had time to work on the 931 this week. Also have 2400 sap buckets that I have to wash. I got 600 done yesterday afternoon and today.

Glad you got it out, very nice "511" , Dad sold one of those, and remember where it went. Lots of years ago.

Sap buckets uh. Well still enjoying my syrup, and have 2 gallons back up! Glad your still doing it the old fashion way.

That is a sharp looking tractor ! I had a 530 diesel about 25 years ago , great tractor . One of greatest regrets is trading it in when I bought a new tractor , but money was short and I needed the new 4x4 loader tractor , so the 530 went to help pay for it . The 530 wasn't in the dealers yard a week before some lucky fella took it home.
