As I posted last night, I had completed the entry steps and had to build a pair of transition plates to connect the steps to the cab frame under the doors. I fabed up my my prototype, a simple triangle, wide enough width to acomidate the 15" width of the steps, and then drilled mounting holes in it to match the cab mounting holes. It worked out that the rear bracket hole lined up with a cab mounting hole in the tractor platform, and all I needed to do was to weld L brackets on the front cab mounting struts to secure front of the steps. This makes it easy to finish the support braces from the tranny to the lower part of the steps to complete them and ready them for paint.
