How hard is it to find pins bushings for a track from a cletrac. does the cletrac have the continental motor.

Cletrac (Cleveland Tractor Company) made many different models of tracked tractors from about 1916 until 1957 (using different engines including Buda and Hercules). Some people use "cletrac" as a generic term for any tracked machine. If you really have a Cletrac, you should call Zimmerman Oliver-Cletrac of Ephrata, PA. phone # 717-738-2573, as they may have the parts you need (and could help find what model you have).
If you have a tracked machine made by some other manufacturer ( Case, Deere, Cat, etc.), try to find out what model you have.

Couldn't find a number on it but it did have a continental plate on the motor. its yellow and has the same sprockets as the case 310 with the large nut that hold it on. I have a case 310 and it looks a lot like it. did they make a 300 case crawler. pins and bushings are wore pretty bad.

There a place in PA, that's a Cleveland Tractor Parts place, The name is Zimmerman, he advertise in the Oliver Magazine. I am sure he could help you.

That is because a Cletrac and a early Case both used a Clark final drive. The Case crawler was a product of world War 2 because Cletrac could not keep up with demand. Zimmerman also has some parts for those early Case crawler. No Cletrac's had a 4 cylinder Continental.

I have a Cletrac that had a Cont. engine in it but it was not the correct engine. Most Cletracs that I know of used the Hercules engines in them

What is a teratrac. It looks as though it does just have brake bands for turning like the case I have. tHE SPROCKETS are held on by a real thick nut. the tracks are pretty narrow. it looks to have a two piece hood. the front piece is missing. seat frame is sort of a hi back type. engine is free as are the tracks. don't really see anything welds on the finals. the right has a seal leaking, when I reached up underneath to check the bushings all that I checked were real bad. I am sort of familiar with the cases and I don't think it is a case. don't know anything about teratracs. thanks norm

When I look at the seat frame it looks the same. So how hard is it to find parts for them and are they like the cases machines as they don't have steering clutches just brake bands. thanks norm

I restored one a few years ago. The motor is similar to a V Case. Parts seem to be hard to come by. I understand that Cletrac tracks may?? work on them. I know a guy who was looking for tracks and they wanted about $1400 for a set of used ones. Fortunately mine were OK. Calling around to wreckers might turn up something too, but it may take some looking. The GT 25 looks very similar to the picture. They were a forerunner of the Case. The company that made them was bought by Case and that was the start of the Case construction equipment line. A fun machine to have. I also would suggest Zimmerman as they may have some ideas for you.

Nice looking little dozer. After seeing some other photos I think it may be a terratrac I looked at. Are those tracks harder to find as the pins and bushings are pretty bad. thanks

Tractor ser # plate on AG-6 is on the right forward side

of the plate in front of the gas tank .

If you have a terratrac ,the ser # is stamped in the

top of the frame rail by the srarter.
