Throttle Adjustment??

Got the Case 930CK diesel running good now but have one issue that I hope you all can help with. When I set the throttle lever to the wide open position, it will slowly move up about a 1/2 inch and slow the engine RPM's. Is there an adjustment and how is it done? Thanks!!!

look where the throttle rod is at the bottom on the steer column, loosen the lock nut and tighten the upper nut a bit shoukd fix your problem unless the "brake" material is gone
