A long time customer drop off their 1370 wanting me to repair a exhaust leak. Not being able to find the leak I decided to dyno the tractor thinking the problem would show up. It did not, but it sure made a wooshing sound that was easy to spot. After 40 years this pipe plug had loosened and fallen out of the intake manifold leaking out pressurized air. Simple to cure that problem. Then there was a leak on the brake valve of a 1070. Those of you that have removed and repaired these on a 70 series tractor with a cab know what a pain in the a$$ they can be. It looks simple but almost everyone will test their religion when doing this job. I have not removed many thankfully, one a these times when throwing stuff in anger I might actually hurt something, LOL. Rod.
