Need help identifying my case tractor

I have a case tractor that was given to me. She runs great, but I would like to completely restore her, however to do so I obviously need to know exactly what she is. I was told it's a 530 however I am not sure. According to my antique tractor guide, it ought to have a serial number plate either on the dash, and while the dash is pretty rusty, it doesn't appear to me there was ever a serial number plate located there, or it might on the toolbox, and it doesn't look as if there were ever one mounted. It does however, have a serial number plate, located on the engine right side, beneath the starter. Serial plate does not list a model, however it does have serial number 2023006 on it. In further description, the tractor has a 4 speed gearbox, with a high / low range shifter on the right side, and has both a standard foot clutch, as well as a hand operated clutch control on the left side.

The tractor is is decent running shape, and I use her all the time, but I would like to restore her to new condition, but that's tough to do, not knowing enough to look for the proper parts.

Any help you could give me would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It appears to be a 541 tractor. I think you will also find that the range lever on the RH side has a third position, makeing it a tripple range. The fenders however are not correct for a 530 though. The 530 fenders were enclosed down to the floorboards on them, with the exception of very late models. You are also missing the two panals that fastened to the fuel tank and extended down to cover the hyds under the tank. The missing panal on the RH side had the sn# tag on it.

I agree with Loren but more specifically yes your tractor is a 530 family tractor.
5 = 530 family tractor
4 = spark ignition (gas tractor)
1 = row crop version
It looked at first like it was a 430 but after looking longer Loren is right. What does it have for gauges on dash? Individual ones or a gauge cluster?

Late 530s have individual gauges also.
The giveaway is the hood is a one piece on a 430 with the fuel tank under it. On a 530, the tank is part of the top profile with a very short hood.

Good points Straw Boss. I was curious on gauges because of the vintage of tractor front and thought maybe it had a newer rear end,fenders etc. Maybe it does have a dual range not triple . ??? Might be another Johnny Cash type tractor. More pics. could tell story.

Yes, I was disregarding the incorrect fenders on an early style front end tractor. I'd say no eight speed unless it is COM or shuttle shift and it's obviously not COM and I think the shuttle shift has a lever with a different height and bends than the hand clutch. I'd be very surprised if this tractor didn't have a triple range. Could be a 4 speed but he did say it had a range shifter.
