Hello Everyone,

I'm back to the annual winter project of compiling old Case dealers. If you haven't already shared the old dealer information yet, I'd be more than happy to hear from you. Any info you can remember is greatly appreciated. Many Thanks for the people who have shared information with me already. When I started this project in 2003 I was still able to talk with many original owners, now it's either children or grandchildren. Funny how that happens. Hard to believe it has been 30 years since most Case dealers were eliminated. Don

Indianola Iowa early to mid 1970's Jim Jett was the manager. 1950's was 1 in Murray Iowa. don't know anything more about it.

Working on a couple for you. Trying to find physical evidence. If I can find the picture of one it's from the early 1900's. Funny thing is he was a Case and IH dealer!

Jones Equipment. Freeport Ohio.
Telfher Brothers. Jewett Ohio.
Jones still in business. Old case dealer very knowledgeable.
Telfher Brothers long gone. My grandfather purchased a new 1949 case dc he and my father road with the dealer to Columbus Ohio to get the tractor at the railroad yard. Got the tractor back to the dealership, started to drive the tractor home and the rear wheel came loose and almost fell off. Got the wheel tightened up and finished the trip. I now have that tractor.

Duclos by intersection of 22A and Vt 125

Both of the have been long out of business

You may know about Vasholtz Eqt that used to be in Salina, KS. Freddy Vasholtz owned it and I spend many hours in there as a young kid while my Dad was dealing with them or buying parts, looking at the toys and also new tractors.

Also, Choitz Bros Eqt in Ellsworth, KS. They are still in business, although no longer a Case dealer. They still work on them and have ton's of knowledge on the older Cases, as well as newer ones. Bob

Don, do you show a Case dealer in Alvin, TX. They are still the Case Construction equipment dealer. Farm equipment went to the Farmall dealer in Alvin.

How about Hoskins >>>Spelling <<< In Auburn NY ? I remember as a little kid I climbed up on a Case self propelled combine and got it started. Good thing it wasn't in gear. Yes I sat on one cheek at a time going home that day. Never did that trick again. Must have been in about 1947 one of the 1st SP combines.

Tri-State Equipment in Sioux Falls SD. Norm Mellegard and his son Steve ran it in the 70s. I bought my 1170 there in 1979, Dad bought a new 2290 in 79 or 80 and we both bought used Case equipment there. As far as I know Steve still runs it, but they didn't get to keep Case. Sioux International across the hiway got the contract.

here's another one from my area.....they were only here a short time. What years are you looking for....we had a couple of others in the area I'm just trying to find an old ad or something

Sinner implement Delta Co, oldman is still alive and it looks like a case store from about 1970 there, just left one day and never came back. shelves stocked, brochures out, and old case tractors everywhere, worth a call. Also in Montrose, Co I believe there was a case dealer owned by Fred Miller, but before my time if there was. Call sinner and see if they have any old advertising material, he will gladly send it I bet.

I grew up in Central NY, and in this neck of the woods, of course there was Fassetts, but I also think I remember an old case dealer sign on the shop of one of the local loggers in Schenevus NY. He's passed away, but I'll ask his kids next time I see them if they have any information on it

Thomas Fay Implement in Greeley, Colorado. They were located downtown till the late 1960's. I've seen everything there from steam thru 30's series.

There was another dealer in Ault, about 18 miles north of Greeley. They carried parts for Mar-Beet sugar beet harvesters. We had one that fit our DC.

Hoffers implement Brookville/Raymond Indiana. Brookville would be the postal address, Raymond is the little town population about a dozen it is in. They didn't get the caseih dealership. They still work on tractors , sell a few used ones and implements and pump some gas.

Fack and Fry Waltonville IL. Also Barnard Equip located Geff or Cisne Il. The dealership was out in the country and it was about half way between the two towns.

That would be much appreciated. Several people have mentioned a dealer @ Schenevus, but cannot remember the name. Don
