Battery Cover ID, Case?

Can anyone positively ID the make & model tractor this battery cover fits. Barn find and was told possibly from a Case tractor. Thanks

Tom - I believe the 900-930 cables come out the same side. I'm thinking 730-830 gas, but not sure on that either without looking. Bob

I may be wrong, I have a 900 and early 930, one cable comes from the left side battery to the other battery on the right and then to the starter, I can take a pic of mine,,

would not be my first time being wrong lol I have covers her from several models I will take some pics today and post sounds like a good subject

Doesn't matter actually, but the cables should come out on the sides, on the same side. They all point towards the PTO if it had one. I'm thinking the 700-830 Gas would be the one in the picture. I believe the 400 gas as well. Bob

You were sure right,,, has to be a gas model, the 900 and 930 ones I have the cables come out on the same side, the 830 one for a dsl has room for two batteries,, I will guess that his will fit 400-830 gas, I do not seem to have any gas tractor covers thanks for the correction

Yep, you're right. The 900-930 LP Standard Chain Drive lids will also fit the Big 600lp as well as the LA, although it only takes one for it.

The 900-930 diesel Standard Chain Drive covers (which are the same as the gas/lp only longer) will also fit the Big 500 and 600 diesels as well. The older lids had the rubber nubs and the newer CK lids had the two flat bars on the sides that sat on the lid.

I believe Don L is getting the 24v and the 700-830 Gas lids reproduced, but I don't think anyone is reproducing the Standard Battery Covers yet. Bob
