DB 880 Clutch Parts Help

I need help rebuilding my 1966 DB 880 selectamatic clutch. I have purchased two new clutch disks and had the floating disk plate resurfaced on both sides. I need help getting the pressure plate resurfaced (how hard is it to take apart or should I just ship it to someone as is). The pressure plate has heat cracks in it so it needs to be resurfaced for sure. I would also like to know if i should remove the flywheel (won't break loose) and have it resurfaced (see picture)? I have had no luck here in Utah getting help on this project. The one case parts guy I went to didn't have a clue and I ended up wasting a couple of hours. I would also like to replace throughout (and other) bearings while I have the tractor split. The only numbers I can find is on the pressure plate..they are 52905 W2 15.

The tractor is in great shape for the year and will last my lifetime once I fix the brakes and rebuild the hydraulics (they lift great but drift down within a few minutes of shutting off).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Here are the pictures....I hope

Fred,

I'm guessing the first picture is of the flywheel. If it is I would try and figure out how to get it off and refaced. Your clutch will work better and last much longer. Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks for the advise, I will beat it off and get it refaced. What type of shop should I look for that can do the job? I'm not really in tractor country.

Fred, you will need to get between the crankshaft flange and flywheel to work the flywheel off of the crank. Have a shop here that rebuilds those DB clutch covers. e-mail open
