Case 1070 rear wheel adjustment

Im going to be buying a case 1070 thats been sitting for years, probably at least 17. Im told it does run but I cant load it on a trailer because the rear wheels are set way to wide. Ill need to drag a bunch of tools out there and try and narrow it up. Any advise would be great since its far from home and Ill only have what tools I bring.

It would be easier to borrow a deck over trailer from someone than try to loosen and move the wheels in the middle of nowhere.

Takes an 1 1/8 socket. Then once you get the wedge loose from the axle wrap a Chain around the cab support and use a handyman Jack to push the wheel in. Bring oil and all your curse words of it's been a long time since they were loose.
