Went to Waconia MN today to watch there huge vintage ride. What a sight for the snowmobile lovers. Bet there was close to a 1000 sleds. Had a great time. The smell of vintage was in the air. My guess is maybe over 50 of the MFG's had machines there. This is a very small sampling. A must see event for us vintage guys and gals. Rod.

Rod,

Thanks for these pics of vintage snowmobiles! Brings back memories of when I was a lot younger. There were some pretty fast machines around here, and then the Rupps came out. They just blew everyone else away for a couple of years. My brother in law had a Roloflex and a BoaSki. Two unknowns to me. A good friend of mine used to assemble Massey-Fergusons at their factory in Algoma, WI. Don

Tom, We left the sleds home because we did not know what all went on there. Will try to go back with a couple sleds the next time. This pic is while riding around our place. Rod.

Dan glad you enjoyed them. I have closely followed the sno-mo scene all my life. There was several brands I had never heard of before. Rod.

Thanks for sharing this. I had a JD Liquidator in the mid-80's and wish I had taken some pictures of it. A good winter day was embarrassing my Arctic Cat buddies on their new sleds with a heavy old $400 JD.

I have driven the MF and Scorpions in your pictures too, and now know that was the beginning of my tinnitus....
