Steering on my case vai

Hi, I just bought a 47 case vaI. Runs great however while using it my steering reversed. Turn to the left tractor goes right. Anyone heard of this. Thanks Dave

Are you stating it was working correct then wasn't, or that it has been that way since you got it? If it happened while you were using it, about the only way would be if it got in a bind while turned sharp and the arm flipped up on the box. Steering arm on the box should be pointing down. There is not an internal stop in the steering box so it would be possible for that to happen. Lee

Yes it was working and I look at the arm it is up, would I steer it back or remove arm and replace it down. Thanks dave

You can unhook the drag link and turn the steering wheel to get the arm back in position. Much easier than removing arm. Without any stop in the box the wheel and arm can be turned to any position without removing it. My guess is you had the wheels turned all the way to the left when it happened. Lee
