All year long I run 15w40 diesel engine oil in my 2003 duramax, and my International McCormick Diesel B250. I figure the same for my Diesel 188 in my mid 60's Case 530CK. Im contemplating about running straight 10W diesel oil for the winter. Lately its been close to 32 degrees F. Here in Canada, -5 to plus 5 Celcius.
In a old gas single cylinder tractor we have we run 30W in the summer and 5w30 in the winter. What you recommend for an old diesel 188 in around 32 degrees F plus or minus 5 degrees?
