I went to the new area HF store and Runnings today. While wandering around in Runnings I ran across this DC3. 75th aniversery edition. Hard to believe that the DCs have been around 75 years. This is a SpecCast toy which is highly detailed. I have a D, DC4, DC3/awf, and now this DC3nf. I off set the cost of it by buying cheaper lights for ther cab on the 931. HeHe

PS I about fell out of my boots when I was looking at the prices for those newer LED tractor lights.
Hey Jack the clock you sent me is keeping perfect time.

We have Runnings here also, some of those same expensive LED lites can be bought on Ebay for less than $10 apiece. My son bought some for his 830 which is on the snowblower for the winter. Lots of light.

The case toys are 1/16 scale. I have both the D standards, DC-3,DC-3 AWF, and the DC-4. The DC-3 and DC-4 also come in an Lp gas version. Speccast also made a DC high crop.

I sure wish Speccast would make an SC.

I think the Firestone Wheels of Time collection has a SC. They are nice. I see them on Ebay every now and then.

I have a DC puller edition with big tires, wheelie bars, front weight frame and front hang on weight package, Have had it for several years now. Still in original box. Don't know which manufacturer made it.

Looks just like the one I have in the barn but with better paint. So is the hydraulics the two way system or the one way system used with Eagle hitches? Oh, and Loren, I'm still pondering that engine laying on the floor of your shop. So what do you reckon that dude weighs and did you pull the head before pulling the engine? JD

Loren,

I couldn't resist either. Having grown up on D series tractors I had to have real ones and toy ones as well. I just read an observation that said if you enjoyed your childhood somehow you find a way to get back to it. Maybe us Case collectors are trying to find a way to go back. Don

Those are some real nice models, very detailed. I picked up these round led lights off of ebay in a new pack of 10 for around $8 a piece. Shine nice and bright and don't heat up the switch when run for long periods of time. They do have plastic lense, so I would suppose after a few years the lens will turn yellow, time will tell.
