Seems to be a pretty stout tractor. I don't know much about these. Here's some pictures. What can you tell me about it?

I know the (homemade?) bucket has insufficient pins in it.

Runs. Drives. Gears are a bit hard to shift. Loader goes up and down and the bucket tilts. Brakes work, but you gotta press hard.

the loader is from a 530CK, it will lift far more than that front end can handle,, the DB's are great tractors,, someone did a good job on the loader fab work

Looks like you got yourself a nice machine! The brakes don't work on any of my David Browns (and I have six of them).

All of my DB brakes work, at least to some degree(some are touchy, some need adjusted, one may be oil soaked). Maybe one of those things growing up without brakes, I have made it a priority to make sure they work.

Thanks everyone! I go pick it up on Saturday. About 35 miles away. I'll post a video of it running later.

I see you have a remote pump for the loader. When the hydraulics on the right side of the seat cross you up don't be afraid to ask questions. My 4600 catches me some times and usually makes me feel like a dope. I've had good luck with my DB, but her nose isn't as straight as yours.

Thanks.

Since the bucket is about toast, and a previous owner decided to use 5/8" and/or 3/4" hitch pins to attach the bucket… (I use the word "attach" loosely)… I think I want to put a quick attach adapter on the loader. Then, I could use my QA forks or QA bucket with this.

Anyone done this? Would this be an OK thing to do?

Well I just got hosed from LaPorte Equip. up in NY. I found a knob I needed on their site - engine control knob that you use to kill the engine, and it was just under $27 and change. I figured, well, I need it - it's an important item, so I ordered it. Turns out shipping and NY tax (I'm in Tx) was $20! Ouch. Shame on me for not checking shipping (>$16) first. I called them and their response was "not our fault - it's what UPS charges".
