I thought I would post some pictures from 2014 doing wheat, 1981 Case 1690 , 1971 Gleaner K , 1997 Ford f150

Nice looking 1690. Looks like brand new. We used a Gleaner F until last year when it caught on fire. It was a good machine for us. Don

It was a late model F with the 292 Chevy gas engine. We used to harvest 100+ acres of corn with it every year. Until a couple years ago we had an AGCO dealer a few miles away who carried practically every part for it-until they lost the contract. We upgraded to an M2. Don

We used the F for oats, wheat and corn w/ a 4-30 orange head. We only do corn with the M2 with a 6-30 black head. I don't think it would handle 8 rows unless you crawled with it. Six rows sure beats four though. Don

The M2 seemed like a monster compared to the F. Now it seems right sized, if that makes any sense. It handles 6 rows of corn well and we can go quite a bit faster than with the F as well. One thing I do like is that it is basically a larger version of the F2 and we can fix everything ourselves, for the most part. Oh, the heater and radio are far superior as well. The one weak point is the unloading auger design. Don
