Yesterday myself and a fellow tractor collector made a over 600 mile round trip to pick up a 1946 DC3. The Case was bought new by the sellers family. The tractor runs and drives great. Needs a set of fenders and a set of used rear tires. I think I will give it a good bath and leave it original to nice to paint. Steve

Man, that is a nice Case. Ain't it nice to know the history of a tractor.
I would put that to work after checking it out a bit. And I would not paint it either.

There's a lot of work left in that DC. I wonder how many acres these old tractors plow before they give up the ghost?

Steve, You need more tie down chains on the front axle. I could have loaned you some. Hope the trip home was uneventfull. dick

I had the same question about the hyd. It sure looks original. Unless it was dealer added with Case parts. To operate the hyd. cyl. you have to hook up the hoses with quick couplers. Then to use a remote cyl. you need to switch hoses. Is this the way the later ones were made?Steve
