930 fuel tank repair

I have a leaky tank on my 930CK and am curious as if any of you have had this problem and how you resolved it, spent about 10 hours on it earlier this year and still having problems with it. Maybe just replace it? If so does anyone have a decent one kicking around? Thanks, Jordan

I had a hole in mine up where the mounting bracket is. I cleaned the area and used JB Weld. Keep the cap off and position the tank so the inside below the JB Weld is dry. Mine was a Diesel hasn't leaked in over 15 years.

I plated the bottoms where they sit in the fenders and used a tank sealing kit from the auto parts store, I've slowed it down considerably but still fighting with it, it's got quite a bit of pitting from sitting in the crud that built up around it

I've repaired 2 over the years, a 930CK & 1030. On both tractors, the tanks, for some reason, did not sit flush in the mountings, the tanks would both "rock". I completely emptied both tanks of fuel, filled w/ water & brazed both tanks. Shimmed the saddles so they sat flush, and the end of it.

I had to repair the fuel tanks on both of my 930 tractors. Simply welded a piece of light flat iron onto both ends of the tank bottom where it sits on the fender saddles. Neither has leaked since and it has likely been at least 15 years for the most recent. Also, a piece of rubber belting between the tank and the saddles will help to prevent future problems.

I don't have any faith in auto store repairs. There's no replacement for metal. pressurize the tank and check the repair with soapy water. If it bubbles repair again until it doesn't. Fuel will seep out holes water won't
