Well 2015 is almost out the door,,,,, I like many here have some "New Ideas" for 2016,,,, mine include putting another 60 acres into strips, Here this is a great way to conserve moisture and helps with soil erosion as well. I also have plans to start the process of installing some bins here to store Wheat,, I have not been able to sell any since our local COOP dropped handling grains a few years back. I will do the Barley and a few Oats again as I will not start planting winter Wheat again until the bins are in place, my plan is to have enough storage to hold all I grow so when the truckers here get a slower time in the winter I can ship semi loads at a time, closest elevator now is 100 miles east or west of me, so this is my solution. So what are your plans for the coming year? I also have a mile of new fence to put in this spring,, used to just hate fencing and anymore I can do it with a smile at least lol I added a few shed shots from years past,,,

Hi there, this is Caseman44 in Penna. What state do you live in? I always like your photos on your Case tractors and equipment. That green sickle bar mower, is that a Case #10 mower? I had one of them years ago and I sold it to a fellow in Canada. Do you still have it? How many acres do you farm? You must have huge pole barn for those large combines. Let me know. I have lots of Case tractors, mostly 1950 models, vac, sc, dc, 400 gas, 1949 Case LA. Later, Harold Phone is 610-767-8370 if needed.

Great pictures. Your plans are a lot bigger than mine.My two acres don't compare to yours HA HA. I still end up with summer projects. I try to blame the wife with her honey do projects but I usually come up with bigger projects of my own. Need to rebuild our front cedar deck and pour some concrete at the shop this year. Last summer I spent half the summer on a dozer fighting fires. I expect plenty of wildfires this year also. Dick

Hello Harold, I am in NE Wyoming,,, Yes that is a #10 sold new with the 400B LP in the pics, I still have it, I have 800 acres in farm ground,,, the pole barn is not near big enough, it is 40' x 120' wish I had four more just like it

Dick, fires are No good at all, I have been on the fighting end of them many times as well,,, these are from this summer, thanks to someone throwing out a cigarette

I hope to get down to Kansas and pick up the last DC in the herd; it was my dad's-purchased new in 1949. My nephew and I plan to remove the Farmhand f10 so it will fit on the trailer. I'll leave a little slack in the chains and put it in gear so that hopefully the rocking back and forth will free up the engine.

Hey Tom, you interested in selling that mower? It would look good on my DC! I know where there is a Case rake, that my 800 would pull, and the 830 on the baler. All Case!!! You just have to help a feller out. LOL

I want to get my 1938 CC with starter done. When DC Tom was still living He thought it was the first CC out of the factory great find for me. I have the engine done crank ground new mains rods redone and a set of pistons and sleeves.I have the inline generator done and a starter ready.

Got some guys 120 Case self-propelled combine here with a engine stuck tighter than the hubs of he!!. Guess it's my job to get it runnin before summer plus the usual farming stuff. And my son has a 1030 that needs the engine put back together.

My goals are as follows: Finish restoring the 36 JD AO all it needs is painting and assembly. Next is getting a 51 Oliver 77 orchard running and driving to take to Brooks Ore. in July. This fall I want to start redoing and finish restoring a 1933 Chrysler coupe I started in 1968 as a 4H project. I can finely make the time to do it right. This is after the ranch work is done. I am glad I retired from the day job. Steve

Steve,

I am sure interested in that 33 Chrysler restoration project. Please keep us informed of your progress with some pics if you can. I intend to fix up my high school street machine, a 66 Plymouth Satellite in these next several months along with painting a DCS and rebuilding a DC3 motor and putting a DC4 back together. Don

I plan to get my '37 CC running for the fourth parade. Also to get my '25 12-20 running and to a local plow day. I'm hoping we get rain this year, last summer I didn't get any hay off 180 acres, drought, grasshoppers and elk did me in. Also will get continue clearing a 30 acre pasture and dig a pond. PK

Seeing the tractor and mounted picker sure brings back a ton of memories from my childhood. My great Uncle Bob had a set up just like that. Spent many hours riding in the wagons with my Dad and Uncle Bob picking corn :D :D 8)
