I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Time for me to turn my attention to my present: 1959 Case 311-B-H according to the ID plate.
She runs great but has one serious problem. Most of the 3pt is missing. It is an Eagle lift, but I get the feeling it never had lift arms or a top link. It seems as though the system was designed to control something under the belly. Perhaps the grader option or other unknown things. What I have does not look like any of the photos from any of the threads.
I can fabricate parts, so this doesn't bother me too much, but I want to make sure that it is designed properly and doesn't stress the axle as a pressure point.
Could anyone post a picture showing how the brackets attach to the axle which hold the lift arms? Also need to see the bracket that holds the top link in place. All of these parts are missing and will need to be fabricated from scratch. If I ordered the parts book, would I get a good schematic?
Thanks so much for any help you can offer.
