I was paroozing the internet for pics of Case tractors and ran across these two beauties. Enjoy!

Enclosed is my "CC", like someone else said, mine also needs lots of work. Dad, and I about 40 years ago had it running, but not since then.

About 10 years ago or so I want to look at a CC setting in a barn full sleet and cultavters. The barn was close to a river and water had been half way upon the tractor. Later and still now wish I had built it.

I've got a CC I'd sale. Located in North Central part of Kansas. It runs, but needs a little fine tuning. Back tires not too good

Found my 1938 CC quite by accident. Needed a bit of work but had new rear rubber so I had to buy it. With a bit of tinkering got it running and it does run good. Only use it two days a year to run a Frick threshing machine. Should last a long time at that rate. Allan

I love to watch and hear the C and L's on the belt. They are very smooth running tractors.

I never witness this myself. I was told by two old farmers, Floyd and Royce (both have passed on) that back in the day the Case dealer would put on demonstrations every fall of Case DC tractors running silo fillers. Floyd stated the dealer had a square nail and would stand the nail on end on the wing of the radiator cap while the tractor was operating the silo filler. The nail would not fall off.

It impressed Floyd, He told me that's why he bought Case tractors. He purchased four Dc's from that dealer. Royce on the other hand bought John Deere model A's. Royce did tell me when the neighbors got together to shell corn. They used a Case DC on the sheller and not Royce's John Deere because the Case provided much smoother power on the belt.

Again, I didn't witness this demonstration. Only heard about it from farmers who went to it. I have read about the Case demonstrations in the town paper, But the article only mention the location, time and the equipment being used. Does not mention the square nail demonstration.

Maybe did a little work magnetizing the nail first, nothing worse than setting up a stunt and having it fail on you disproving your point. Then again, a good salesman would never do something like that.
