Have any of you guys put 20.8-38's on a 9 or 1030? I just
bought a parts 1370 with nice 20.8 Goodyear radials and was
thinking of putting the tires and centers on my 930, it has
23.1-30's now but they are pretty cracked, I thought I saw one time on here that one of you did that, do you guys have
any pics? if you do that would be great. Here is my 930br>Thanks

Sorry, I can't tell when I post pics from this iPhone whether
they are right side up or not, on the phone they always show
up straight, even after I post a pic and go back on my iPad to
view it it is still straight, what happens and why do you guys
see it upside down or sideways?

Good chance they will not fit under your row crop type fenders, you will proby need the big western fenders to make it work.I may be wrong but I think the only way you could get even 18.4x38 from the factory was with the big western fenders. That being said some tractors had 18.4x38 put on them later including mine and they are pretty tight.

I have 20.8 X 38's on my 930. It has the western fenders. I have pictures of it around somewhere with the duals on. I will look. DK

My Dads '69 1030 came new from the dealer with 20.8 X 38s but it was a dealer swap.
The build card says it was born with 18.4 X 38s.
This tractor has the factory cab with the little red fenders so there's plenty of room under them.

If you decide to do this, I would be interested in your 23.1-30 tires, as long as they would be good enough for a puller.

There are a few reasons why, the iphone application is taking advantage of one of the properties for orientation that can be applied to a JPG, but the forum software doesn't understand this.

Second is how you are holding the phone when you take the picture, the only surefire way to not have it rotated, is to hold the phone like a camera with the home button to the right side. Like this,

Toolz, if I do the swap I will let you know, it probably won't be for at least a couple months. Here is a better picture of the 930 maybe you can see the tires better, there are some cracks but decent tread. I don't know if this matters to you but I am in Windsor Ontario, close to Detroit
