engine fits on a 1030

Need to know what engines other that the 504 in the 70 series tractors will fit a 1030?Will the 90 series fit say a 4490 or 2090 case with few issues??Thank a bunch for any help you can offer as the 70 series engines are getting hard to find!Dave A

Hi Dave, To make a long story short, any 30, 70, 90, and 94 series 6 cly engines will bolt in place of one another. Having said that there is still differences the way they are equipped. Meaning flywheels and front pulleys, all the electrical and coolant and oiling systems. Small journal or large and of course turbo or non. You will want to find a engine that meets or exceeds your HP goal. Rod.

Dave I'm not sure but I have a 504 small journal nonturbo complete engine that I would part with , came out of a 2090 I'm in se mn , not sure if it would fit in 1030 I'm sure some others on here might know
