530 vs. 570

The later draft control 530 was for all intents and purposes the same , just the 570 was a rebranded 530.

They went to an alternator setup instead of the generator.
Not much of anything else comes to mind but I'm no expert on them.
Case continuously made updates and changes to the 530 all throughout the decade previous so the late model 530s had most of the
running changes that the 570 was born with. The roll bar/sunshade is something else that was not offered for the 530s.

(quoted from post at 21:54:24 12/18/15) What improvements, if any, did Case make to the 530 when they renumbered it to the 570?

The primary difference between the latest 530s and most of the 570s was the switch from a generator to an alternator. The were a few very early 570s that left the factory with a generator, but most had the later alternator setup. This change required the right hood support to have a push out in the tin to accomidate the larger diameter alternator.

The late 530s and all 570s have clamshell fenders like the 430s. The change from full fenders and floor plates to the clamshell fenders took place at the last major serial number break of the 530 line.

The only other differences between the 530 and 570 were cosmetic and had to do with Tenneco's desire to rid all equipment of the eagle on the globe logo/emblem from cast parts and the tin/hood. Even the "chrome", metallic eagle steering wheel center was replaced with a plain black cap. The last change was a different decal set with the new 70 series Power Case logo.

A couple of new options were available on the 570. A ROPS and canopy was offered, and a "high crop" version with 38" rubber was available. I don't find any evidence these two options were available on the 30-series tractors.....

A roll bar is something I'd like to have on my 530 since I have a loader on the tractor. I wonder where I could scare up one of these?
