So I have come across what the seller claims is a 36 cc. I have asked the serial number to see what the year is really. But what's interesting is the front wheel. It is a single wheel. Was that very common? Looking through the Google images I didn't see any with a single wheel. Also, what would be the rear tire size? Tractordata says 8x48, but that seems like an odd size.

In terms of value, tires seem to hold air, about 15%, good hood, exhaust been covered, free engine, gas tank looks like missing caps. Seller claims 95% complete, seems to be missing top of air cleaner, but don't know what else.

Any idea on value of what might be attached to the back of it? Located in California.

I don't think they made very many with the single front wheel. I have seen a picture of one. Your picture did not show the implement. The rear tires should be 36 or 38 in. It is missing the rear fenders. The last CC I bought I paid 350.and is a little rougher than this one. Were in Calif. is it? I might be interested if your not. Steve

The single front wheel isn't odd being in California as they were used a lot on vegetable farms. The 8x48 wheel mentioned on tractor data would have been the steel wheel measured without lugs. I've never seen the cast centers on that one and they aren't shown in my parts book either. That doesn't mean they aren't factory Case or aftermarket and specific to that model. The original cast rims would have held a 36" tire. I've seen cast centers (like on early DCs) with steel clamp on rims and 38" tires.

It does look pretty complete. Finding good fenders can be a challenge. The air intake tube can be found used. Does the engine turn over, does the clutch engage and release, does the pto turn free and engage, can the transmission be run the gears, would the seller allow you to take one of the side covers off of the oil pan to take a look inside, is the mag hot? Obviously, all of the answers to these questions affect price. I gave $700 for mine in 2012 and had it running after the mag was rebuilt and the fuel system gone through, but overall, it was rough.

Never seen a single wheel CC in person but many pictures. Many of our CC's have rear wheel centers like that. But only one with split rims and they are 36 inch tires like pictured. As mentioned if the motor is loose and not running $700 if running without fenders $850 If stuck maybe $500 but only because of the single front wheel oddity otherwise $400.

Thanks for the info and the offers of help. I hope to look this weekend. If I don't take it I will pass info on.

I have never seen wheels like that. The single front was an option and is the same as a DC. It is a rare item in Iowa, but probably not so much in California. The cast wheels originally would have had 36" split rims on them, but they can be replaced with 38" drop center wheels. The bottom of the gas tank is likely rusted out.

Honestly, it is probably only worth scrap price which is down a lot. The front end is worth something in the midwest. The engine not being stuck is worth a lot, but they are still expensive to get running. $300
