It got unseasonably warm here Thursday and Friday. I huried up a bit and was able to take the body of the little hyd dump trailer that I am fabing outside and get it painted. My shop is not set up for inside painting. I didn't have time to put the finishing touches on the tailgate, or front headboard frame, but sounds like I will get another chance this coming week to paint them Power Red.
I will get the hyd cylinder, brackets and hoses bolted into the trailer frame today. Plan on makeing wood sideboards and front headboard, and fenders. I bet you can't guess what color that I'm going to paint them.
The trailer will hold 67cu.ft struck load @ top of rails.
The lift cylinder that I'm using was the bucket cyl. salvaged off a 281 loader, and the toung is off a 220 baler. The running gear was a WFE 2056 6T running gear that I scrounged from a former customer. The wagon had rolled away on a hill and got bent up pretty bad.
My biggest expense was welding supplies and paint.
I'll post pics later of the finished project.
