Giving Thanks

I feel the need to take a moment to give thanks for so much that our Lord has done for us. Then while we are at it to pray for our soldiers - our people and their safety as they go to Holiday festivities. I so often think how blessed we are to be Americans- to be free - to have family & friends. Thank you Lord.

I just can't thank every thing I need to give thanks for. Not enough page or time.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It is just getting light on the west coast. The wood stove is burning well and there is two granddaughters sleeping on the floor. All kids and grandkids and them some will be home. We are very blessed for what we have and were we live in this great country. Guess it time get the bird out and in oven. Then go and feed cows and enjoy the family. Steve

We've got to feed the cows as well. They'll get some extra nice hay today. Among the many things we're thankful for are a good calf crop this year. Hope you get some relief from the drought. Don

We have 30 plates set for my family. All couldn't come. My daughter is married to a Marine who is alone at the base in North Carolina while she is home this fall to finish college. Let's be thankful for those military families who make sacrifices in more ways than one. Being apart for months at a time can be hard. Here's a picture of him with his plane. He's the crew chief standing in the side door.
