Okay, it's not JI Case but after running Case combines for 40 years I can sneak a half breed cousin in here. The 1640 didn't give a moments trouble,that Cummins is so sweet. Bought a 75 dodge D-500 with 43000 actual miles(like new, new steer tires and very good drives..$1500) to speed up hauling. Been using the Freightliner and 2 250 bushel trailers for 10+ years and running gears are getting loose and slow. Two trucks are much faster as I don't have a drier and it all has to go to town. See if the pics will load....

Good for you! Just in time for Thanksgiving. Our silver seeder ate a piece of straw walker yesterday so we won't make it through harvest w/ no trouble. That's why we love farming so much LOL Don
 
Actually was the last week in October, finally got the pictures to load into the computer. Harvest and field work went so smooth was kinda sad to see it end.
 
Right? It's always bittersweet. Always glad when harvest is over but wished there were more bushels to go after.
 
Glad to hear all went smoothly Steve. In those pics things look so warm and dry, unlike the conditions we have here now. Those cousin combines are not to bad are they. Rod.
 
Steve that is a really good feeling, I like to see all the tractors & combines coming home, or in the yard from a long harvest. Yes, as Rod said you look dry there kinda like our wonderful harvest here, it was fun to here my friends say they didn't need to pull trucks in the field.
I sold the 1400 series combines new and they were good machines. We would run them one evening on our farm and break them in, then take them to a customer that was interested the next day, it was a slam dunk.
Oh, I like that Dodge truck too!
