Rod the 1370 I'm working on the ball bearing on the output shaft went bad, the idler shafts and clutch pack bearings spin and feel good, any reason to go any farther? Will replace the needle bearing on the output shaft also, but doesn't look or feel bad for the ball bearing being shot. Balls were all there, just the cage is in pieces. thanks chris

The ball bearing on the output shaft is the only one I have seen fail. I did the same thing, replaced the ball bearing and needle bearing because everything else was OK. Around here we some of those tractors getting used a lot for PTO work and they have been very trouble free. Rod.

I remember years ago being at the dealership and they had a 1370 that came back off a rental with 10,000 hours on the meter and never turned a wheel as it sat on a irrigation pump

Thanks Rod, will go with an A&I shaft for $170 other than CaseIH for $600 unless you have had problems with the A&I. chris

A&I doesn't have the style I need but has the one for the tapered bearing and also a large 1000 shaft for the tapered bearings. I called myself today to make sure. chris
