Have a question bout a fitting on a 1950 dc parts tractor one of the hoses is attached to a make hydraulic end right next to fill plug. Factory? Possibly place to connect hose when using one way cylinder? Thanks, mike

I should proofread before submitting, question about a male hydraulic fitting. Had not noticed this fitting on any other tractors I have looked at, thanks again, Mike

That looks like a solution to a problem that I have with my 51 DC. I have a loader mounted on it and when I lower the loader the pressure deadheads against the relief valve and makes a squealing noise. The above piping would relieve that issue. The return oil would go directly to the reservoir. The only reasons I won't change it tomorrow are that I welded a plug into the left side fitting and would have to acquire another fitting and that the setup as is acts as a wheel brake, of which I have none at the current time.

A better solution is to pipe the right-hand output into the top of the filter cover, like was done by the factory on later machines. Then you filter the oil better and the hose doesn't get in the way of your left foot.
