530 Throttle.

I was looking over the throttle linkage yesterday to try and figure out the free play. Looking at the parts layout on the Case/IH parts web page the part numbered 9, ball joint, adjustable. I don't think the ones on my tractor are adjustable. I'll look again today to make sure. If I can tighten those up it may eliminate the free play.

The question I have is; what is part numbered 14 for? Mine is missing this part.

The joint on the one end of tie rod is adjustable, the other made on the rod.

The boomerang piece, #14 is a curved piece that allows the spring to have action as the link rolls over center so the spring is always effective. It could easily be made if it is not easy to find.
