Temp sender 1070 engine

Most had them in the top rear of the watermanifold, a few can be found in the back of the rear cly. head. Rod.

Thanks I will look and see what I can find. How about tightening up the power shift and range selector linkages? they are really wobbly up on the station.

there are no grease zerks on the shiftrs,.. if you have wobbly levers it could mean the shifters are worn ,,. if so , I would suggest going to a bone yard and finding a good set and repl;acing them .. it would be a good time to install grease zerks , my early 1070 has problematic range shifting,.. I have soaked the shifting collar under the cab with wd 40 while parkt on a steep slope so the oils will find its way down the shaft ,,. I am betting that the shift collars are bent and binding,, when I found this 1070 it only had 2nd and 4th range ,, my friendly ihc dealer put 1800 bux more value into the tractor to get 1st and 3rd ,,. power shift is fine,. I intend to drill the shifting collar and install a grese zerk along the shaft and fix the temp sensor also , but got plenty other fish to fry ..
