My father and I visited a farm that will be the location of an upcoming auction. There were many Case items among other items. I will post some pictures that we took.
The farm is located near St. Charles, Iowa and the auction will be November 7th.

That auction is from Bob Robison. Lives about 13 miles from me. Am going to try to make it there. He has a real nice 800 gas with com that he takes on tractor rides. Don't see it listed on the bill. Has some decent complete tractors also, but apparently he is going to keep some and sell some. Last time I talked to him, he was partial to the 2 tone Case tractors. Looks like he may have 2 rings going to get it all done in one day.

A few things in there that look interesting, the two RC's, probably need both to make one, the side dresser, the combines, and the eagle hitch plow. Others seem mostly parts, though the stuff I mentioned may be mostly parts as well upon close inspection! Too bad I live on the east coast, would be fun to go.
 
Well my old man made it to the auction and saved a few of them. The Sunburst RC will get restored and the DC's with Wide fronts, C motor with weird side by mag, VAI, L on steel and some rearends and parts. Not sure what he paid but he was happy. Will try to post pics as things progress.
 
Thanks for the update. Its good to know that some of the items didn't go to scrap.
Can't wait to see progress pictures from your new tractors!
 
Looks like the C had a moto meter in the radiator cap. Wonder if it was any good? Probably a lot of parts went to someone. You never know what you will find at an auction like that. Thanks for the pics. Bob
