1490 vs 1070 cab

A friend recently purchased a Case 1490 loader tractor and he wants to put a cab on it.
I have a Case 1070 sitting out back with a bad engine.
He called today wondering how hard it would be to put the 1070 cab on his 1490.
Anybody know if it is a simple swap or a major headache.
 
Somewhere well beyond a major headache. Those 2 tractors share nothing in common except the name on the front.
 
What is wrong with the 1070 other than the engine?
Power shift or eight speed, where is it located at and do you want to
sell it?

A few small parts have been pulled off the 1070 [ seat, back window, one spindle] other than that the previous owner parked it when the motor went.
Power shift N.W. Saskatchewan.
Bought it for a parts machine for my 970.
My wife really likes the words "sell it".
Sounds like the cab swap will be a no go.
Guy with the 1490 was hoping for a simple bolt on.

I am located in Ohio. I am looking for the mechanisms for the Door, right window, rear window. the arms that hold them open and keep them from opening to far. Do you know if the windshield wiper motor works. I also need the wiper arm.

I am sure there is more that I am not thinking about right now.If you have pics and can text them that would be great. 740-236-7340 Thanks
