I was looking through a 1979 CASE Counter Catalog, under "Lube", & found all this interesting. TFD was listed as a 20W Fluid. Recommended for all the '70 Series, Power Shift or not, except the 1470. Even in the 570 Case-O-Matic, although I've never seen one. In '30 Series C-O-M they recommend TCH.
In the 2390 & 2590 they recommend TFD-2 which is a 15W30. "Not recommended for any other CASE models".
TCH is thinner than TFD, but I cannot find the weight. TCH is still available, but when the part number for TFD is entered into the system, it subs to Hy-Tran, which has recently been reformulated.
